Irrigation management

Agriculture is undoubtedly one of the sectors most affected by the effects of climate change. Variations in heat or alternating dry periods with devastating floods will necessarily limit the natural productivity of the soil. They will also entail additional costs, starting with investment in irrigation systems in the driest areas or the purchase of additional feed for farmers.

Saving resources is the goal of every business process. Water is one of the basic resources of agriculture and irrigated crop production, and the optimization of the use of water resources is the task of many other technological processes

Taking into account the size and scale of irrigated objects, remoteness from communication infrastructure and energy supply, crop production and horticulture are most in need of effective solutions to save not only water, but also energy and human resources.

Controller for water valves RSCU4x0

RSCU4x0 is a motorized smart water valve designed for remote control of water supply.

The controller offers the optimization of water consumption Remote/automatic control of the irrigation system in 24/7 mode without the physical presence of a human resource at the irrigation facility.

The RSCU4x0 offers several advantages as:

  • No need to connect to the power grid
  • A modern energy-efficient chip provides a wide range of functionality with low energy consumption
  • Additional possibilities - connecting a daughter board and programming it "according to the Customer" allows you to get additional functionality

Usage example of RSCU4x0

Principle of action

  • The controller is installed in a hermetic box directly near the water valves
  • Up to 4 water supply valves are connected to each controller with a cable
  • The controller controls the water and/or fertilizer supply valves using commands from a PC or smartphone
  • Close/open commands can be sent to each valve separately, or to groups of valves providing water to different areas
  • Simultaneous sending of commands to a group of up to 255 water valves is possible
